Letter from the Head Coach,
Welcome to the 2020 Bowie Soccer Season.  First, I would like to thank the parents for allowing their athlete to be a part of the Soccer Program at James Bowie High School.  We appreciate the caliber of student athlete you are raising and are thankful for their participation.  We would also like to thank you for your support as well, we can’t truly have a successful program without the involvement of the parents.  I would like to thank all of my Booster Parents that have volunteered their time and effort to support the Program.

We have some new changes this season; we have a new assistant coach this year helping with the Varsity and Coaching the JVB team.  Coach Gonzalez is teaching PE at Palm Elementary and has been Coaching at Reagan High School the past 3 years.  We are excited to have him here and working with our players.

Our coaching philosophy is not only to win games, but to help our students athletes grow to become outstanding role models.  The team will focus on work ethic, team building, and supporting each other while working on fitness and soccer skills.  Our players should be able to depend on and trust each other on and off the field.  Winning games will come and result of that hard work that the athletes have put in.

Our players have been working hard to be successful an I would like to again thank you for supporting the Bowie Boys Soccer Program and are expecting to have another great season.
