Booster Club Meeting Minutes 02-17-2010

Present: David Luttrell, Terrie Marquette, Mike Jones, Linda Gibeaut, Roberto Delgado,
Dolly Prince, Lisa Fields, Suzanna Ammheuser, Jim Ammenheuser, Susan Lisheron.

President David Luttrell called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
The minutes from the January meeting were reviewed and approved by the membership.
The treasurer’s report was reviewed and approved by the membership.
Coach’s comments

The coach is reporting that his fundraiser will be either Taco Bell cards or Sonic cards. He will hand them out as soon as he gets them.

Old Business

The membership is at 43 families, 3 being reported tonight. Varsity is at 14 out of 27, lower than the other grade levels. We need to make sure juniors families join so that they will be eligible for scholarship next year. Susan Lisheron and Linda Gibeaut are going to help look for members at the JVB games.
Concessions will continue to be run by the contracted company.
Scholarship applications are due 4-9-10. It can be found on the soccer website.
We are still looking for a singer to sing the Star Spangled Banner at the Homecoming/Senior night game. Joe Broz will be the announcer for the game.
Jim and Suzanna Ammenheuser still need 3 senior pictures for the video and will need more video clips of players to complete the video. If there are not clips of everyone this portion will not be included in the video.
The car wash date is confirmed for 3-6-10 at Goodwill on Brodie. There will be 10 tickets given to players to pre sell. Coach will put the players on teams to work shifts. The team that sells the most tickets will get to pick their work shift, second most sold will get to choose next and so on. Anyone with old towels to donate should bring them. Drinks will be available for sale.
The 3v3 tournament will be discussed at later meetings for next year.
The banquet will be 4-22 at Creekside. Kris Bloomfield and Dolly Prince are managing this event.
The election of next year’s officers will be at the next meeting. So far no names have been submitted.

New Business

The Southern Living event is tomorrow night.
The idea was suggested for next year to have a youth soccer camp as a fundraiser.

The date of the next meeting is 3-24-10.
